First, is its size. When a town is small it is often so for a reason. Development of open space could destroy the foundations that the town where built upon. Ririe was conceived and nurtured by the hands of farmers. If the livestock and farmland were to disappear, the homes and buildings that took there places would be akin to a tombstone of a time and lifestyle that ceased to exist.
